PLEASE NOTE! A very common cause of fires in PV installations is the use of solar connectors from different manufacturers. Connectors from different sources have different specifications – a poor fit leads to the generation of resistance, resulting in a rise in temperature which may cause the installation to catch fire. In Europe, the IEC 62548 and IEC 60364-7-712:2017 standards do not permit the connection of DC connectors from different manufacturers. The use of connectors and components from manufacturers other than those factory-recommended by Doktorvolt® is not permitted. To prevent accidents and ensure the safety of our customers, we supply a set of solar connectors (4x female and 4x male) with the distribution board.
