On our website, you usually see the finished products. Photos, descriptions, technical specifications — everything you need to choose the right electrical distribution board.

Today, however, I’d like to show you a little more. To take you behind the scenes and share what happens before a finished product reaches your hands.

Because behind every distribution board are people, their expertise, and the work they do every day. And that work happens in a very specific place — Malichów, in Poland’s Opole Voivodeship.

This is where Doktorvolt operates.

First, We Need to Understand What You Need

Not everyone needs the same type of electrical distribution board. Some are looking for a solution for a construction site, others for a workshop, while some have specific requirements related to their business.

The Doktorvolt team discusses technical documentation and the details of electrical distribution board prefabrication in the production hall in Malichów.

That’s why choosing the right distribution board starts with a few questions. What equipment will be connected? Where will the distribution board be used? What types of sockets will be needed?

This is important because two products may look similar but differ in their capabilities and intended applications. Sometimes, one of our standard models is exactly what you need. Other times, we need to discuss the details and prepare a custom-made solution.

You don’t need to know all the technical terms to get in touch with us. To start with, simply tell us what you need the distribution board for. We’ll help you work out the rest.

What’s Inside Matters Too

When looking at an electrical distribution board, we usually notice the enclosure and sockets first. That’s only natural — these are the parts we can see straight away. But inside, there are wires, electrical connections, and protective devices that need to be carefully selected and installed.

We want our products to be solidly built, which is why we pay particular attention to the components we use. We choose proven, high-quality parts and select them according to the intended application of each distribution board. This applies not only to the enclosure and sockets but also to the parts you don’t normally see — the components inside.

The equipment and components used depend on the model and its configuration.

For the customer, what matters most is that the electrical distribution board meets their needs. Our job is to take care of all the details that make this possible — including those you can’t see in the product photos on our website.

Behind Every Product Is Our Team

Doktorvolt started out in the autumn of 2013 as a small family business. A lot has changed since then. We’ve expanded our production facilities, our team has grown, and our products now reach customers in Poland and abroad.

When I look at a finished electrical distribution board, I also think about the people who worked on it.

From talking to the customer and agreeing on the configuration to assembly and preparing the order for shipment. Our sales, production, and warehouse teams need to stay in close contact. This is especially important for custom orders, where specific requirements need to be clarified and passed on to the right people.

Every team member plays a part in what the customer ultimately receives.

Assembly Requires Precision

During the assembly stage, all the selected components are put in place. This is where knowledge, concentration, and attention to detail really matter.

The arrangement of components, electrical connections, and labelling — every detail requires careful attention. Once the enclosure is closed, some of these elements are no longer visible, but they remain just as important.

That’s why the experience of the people carrying out this work is so valuable. They are the ones who turn the agreed configuration into a finished product.

Before the Distribution Board Leaves Our Facility

Once assembly is complete, it’s time to inspect and test the product. At Doktorvolt, this work is carried out by qualified specialists. Our products also have serial numbers and certificates.

A serial number may seem like a small detail, but it helps us identify a specific unit when a customer contacts us with a question.

Once the distribution board arrives at its destination, it’s worth taking a look at the accompanying documentation and checking the conditions for its use. Even a properly selected product must be used in accordance with its intended purpose.
